Bring the whole team in.
Show each one only what they need.
Invite colleagues or an outsourced team, decide what each person can see and do, and let AskCub hand out new conversations fairly. Cubby works alongside them as the first line.
- Agent-only role never sees analytics
- Switch-by-switch permissions
- Changes apply instantly

Grow the team without losing control
Support teams change: a new hire, an agency for the night shift, a specialist for one product line. AskCub keeps access tight and the workload even as people come and go.
Least access by default
Agent-only teammates work in the inbox and never see your website analytics. Every extra ability is a switch you turn on.
Fair, automatic routing
New chats go to the agent with the lowest load, or in turn. Busy agents are skipped; a full team builds a shared queue.
Clean hand-offs
Transfer a chat with a private note for the next agent. The visitor sees one short system line, not your internal discussion.
A real name and face for every agent
Each agent sets the name visitors see, a photo and a short signature. Visitors know who they are talking to; your team keeps their personal accounts private.
- Display name and avatar shown to visitors
- Signature line, such as “Pre-sales · English & Deutsch”
- Cubby has its own name and avatar, clearly marked as AI
- Personal and site-wide canned replies
The agent-only role: the inbox, and nothing else
Made for support staff and outsourced teams. They answer visitors in the inbox; your website analytics stay closed to them on every screen. Then you switch on exactly the extras each person needs.
- Conversation scope: assigned to them (and unassigned), or everyone’s
- Visitor context card, live visitors and proactive messages
- Manage site-wide canned replies and stickers
- Export, delete, ban visitors, delete any message (logged)
- Broadcast, and reports: hidden, own numbers or the whole team
Owners, admins and analysts always have full agent abilities; switches apply to the agent-only role.

New chats, shared out fairly
Turn on auto-assignment and every new conversation goes to an online agent — the one with the lowest load, or simply the next in turn. When everyone is full, chats wait in the unassigned queue for the first free hand.
- Lowest load (recommended) or round robin
- Maximum concurrent chats per agent — 5 by default, or unlimited
- If the owner goes offline with unread messages, the chat returns to the queue after the time you set
- Waiting more than 2 minutes turns red in the queue
Pass a conversation on, with the context
Pick a colleague, add a private note about where things stand, and transfer. The next agent sees the whole thread and your note; the visitor sees a single line saying someone new has joined.
- See each colleague’s current load before you choose
- Private transfer note — only the recipient sees it
- Offline colleagues get it when they come back (you are asked first)
- Transfers in and out appear in the agent report
Choose a colleague to continue. Your note is private.
Never miss a new conversation
Desktop notifications with sound and an unread count in the browser tab while the inbox is open. Away from the desk? Send new conversations and offline messages to the tools your team already uses.
- Desktop notifications and sound, per agent
- Unread count in the browser tab, across every page of the dashboard
- WeCom, DingTalk and Feishu group notifications
- Webhook for your own systems
